SS Normandie - Ocean Liner Cutaway

Meticulous attention has been taken to reproduce each luxurious detail accurately of this full cutaway of the world-famous French winner of the Blue Riband. This cutaway would be a beautiful addition to a serious ocean liner collector.

Starting in 1935, the Normandie was the largest, fastest, and most luxurious ship in the world. On her maiden voyage, she set the transatlantic speed record at 29.98 and 31.31 knots on her return to France. Seized by the US in 1939, she caught fire and capsized in New York harbor only to be refloated years later and scrapped.

As customized cutaways are built to order, it will take two to three weeks to create, frame, and ship the cutaway.

The framed size is 22.5" wide by 8.5" high.

Natural Basswood finish (as pictured) is mounted on a Baltic Blue matte and surrounded by a luxurious cherry finish frame.

Brass and Silver finishes are mounted on a black matte within a black frame, which gives a very contemporary look.
