Submarine Machinist's Mate "A-Ganger" Dolphins

After years of requests, we finally have available for you the "A-Ganger" breast badge. So what is an "A-Ganger"? According to "All The Wacky Submarine Terms You Never Knew You Wanted To Know", an A-Ganger is a conventional machinist's mate who works on non-nuclear machinery such as scrubbers and burners, or the diesel engine, throughout the forward part of the ship. Knuckle-draggers, tough guys, and absolutely, by tradition and right, the most profane individuals on a submarine. They take cursing to levels undreamed of by mere sonar technicians, storekeepers, yeomen, etc...

Regulation size (although never authorized) approx. 3" x 1.5" and made of pewter. On the back, it says (SS) Challenge Coins and has two butterfly clutch pins.
